I don’t really know where to place this thread, but I hope it’s in the right section, if not please a mod move it where it’s more appropriate.
I’ve recently purchased warehouse and I was wondering how can I install it on a hosting that doesn’t gives me access by SSH.

It really depends on what the specs for the host and how willing they are to help you. I wouldnt advise working on any rails application without root access though.

Provided the host provides some means of “creating” a new rails application it would probably be best to create it, then delete the files from it and upload the warehouse files.

You’ll get problems when you need to install the database schema though.

As far as requiring root access, I doubt thats really required, SSH I would argue is though.
